Christelle Boulé is a Canadian-Swiss photographer and artist. She graduated with a Master of Photography from the prestigious art school ECAL/University of Art and Design in Lausanne (Switzerland). She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from UQAM/University of Quebec in Montreal (Canada) and have been working in the field since 2009.
Christelle’s practice focuses on experimental photography and printing processes with a strong interest in the visual representation of the intangible. She is fascinated with the sense of smell and expressing it in photographic form. Inspired by material testing and observations of how to capture the invisible (scents, sounds, time, emotions), Christelle likes to find ways to interpret and reveal what we cannot see.
Working in Lausanne and Paris, Christelle divides her practice between commissioned work, personal projects, teaching and lectures.
